Had to create a public service announcement making use of different things learned over the semester in visual effects class. Went the route of land conservation, and came across this organization that seems to buy land to develop into parks, reserves, etc.

Breakdown of the greenscreen shots, video footage, and other effects used. Tried out different colored construction papers for keying, in the end went with the usual green. Lighting was a bright/even light above the setup, with light from other parts of the house acting as a fill. Lately been liking neutral colors, and kinda washed out or aged looks, so this carried over to this project too. Similar style was used in the Perspectives project.

Early testing version of the project, trying out ways to get the desired effect, figuring out how to organize the components and masking etc, figuring out what footage would be needed.
Initial storyboard for the project. During the animatic/rough cut phase, decided to keep the project around 30 seconds in length, mainly because PSA examples I saw online were 30 seconds. This lead to cutting some scenes out that would just be filler, and keep the main portion that deals with visual effects.
